Cat Sitter Service Clauses
1.- Basic characteristics of the service
1.1- The service includes the tasks of feeding, replacement of water, cleaning of stools and basic tasks of entertainment and company.
1.2- The basic service includes the care of up to 3 cats.
1.3- According to the Law of the Basque Parliament 6/1993, of October 29, all cats involved in the service must be identified and the owners are obliged to have them identified by chip and registered with the City Council
1.4- The client must fill out a form for each of the animals involved in the service and must send them via email before signing the contract.
1.5- The client must warn in advance the existence of active treatment, as well as those with a special character or that show aggressiveness in front of strangers.
1.6- The caregiver will regularly send written information and graphic documentation (photos and / or videos) for each visit made, always at the telephone number specified by the client through instant messaging applications.
1.7- The service is designed for San Sebastián capital and surroundings, always subject to the availability of caregivers.
1.8- The caregiver will only supply the products that the client leaves him for this purpose. In case these are not enough, the caregiver will notify the client.
1.9- The service does not include other tasks such as watering plants or caring for animals other than cats in the house. If the client wants an added service, it will be up to the caregiver to decide whether or not it is done and under what budget.
2.-Special situations
2.1- The usual form of service is 1 visit per day. It is possible to extend it to 2 daily visits or to be spaced 1 visit every 2 days. Visits with a period of more than 48 hours between two consecutive visits are not accepted.
2.2- Medication. For cats to which an active treatment must be administered, an updated Health Certificate from a collegiate veterinarian will be requested, specifying the type of medication, route of administration and guidelines for said treatment. This type of service will always be performed by qualified personnel (veterinarians or ATVs) following what is indicated in the health certificate.
2.4- Health changes. In the event that, from the acceptance of the budget to the beginning of the service, the health of any of the animals varies, the client must obtain the veterinary certificate on the proposed treatment and send it by email as soon as possible. In addition, in these cases, it may require a change of caregiver to another qualified and even cancellation of service due to lack of availability.
2.5- Veterinary emergencies. The client must always provide the card of the animals involved in the service and, at least, one carrier, as well as the contact of their usual veterinary clinic and another emergency clinic. In an emergency, the client will be contacted as soon as possible to warn of the situation and request authorization to take the animal to the relevant clinic. The expenses derived from the possible tests and / or treatments will be paid by the client in the clinic, and the caregiver will not charge any extra for the management to be looking after the health of the animal, at most the displacement if necessary.
3.- Hiring
3.1- The way to request the service will always be via email through the address lagateracatcofee@gmail.com so that the agreed terms for each service are recorded. This is necessary for each requested service, including extensions and attachments.
3.2- The signature and key handover procedures will always be carried out physically at the Pet Sitter offices between the client and the assigned caretaker by prior appointment between both.
3.3- The client must have ensured that the copy of the keys delivered works perfectly and must explain to the caregiver any specialty regarding access to the house and the opening of doors and barriers.
3.4- To remove the keys at the end of the service, it will be necessary to present the contract or annex of the service or, failing that, the client's ID.
4.-Cost of the service
4.1- The price of the service is € 13 / hour. There are discounts from two hours a day or if it is contracted for more than 10 days.
4.2- This service is free for people over 65 who meet the requirements of La Gatera. Appendix 1
4.3- Transport Plus: The trip is free up to a maximum of 30 minutes, calculated using the “Google Maps” tool through the public transport network of Donostia. On some occasions, the deficiencies of the platform with respect to the closure or modification of lines must be ignored, choosing the fastest route within the real possibilities. For trips longer than this time each way from La Gatera to the client's home, a transportation bonus will be charged. The rates for the transport bonus, in total computation per visit (includes round trip), will be:
a) Between 31 and 40 min .: € 4
b) Between 41 and 50 min .: € 6
c) Between 51 and 60 min .: € 8
d) For longer routes, make a direct inquiry.
4.4- Transport with own vehicle. For some services, the use of a caregiver's own vehicle is essential; If that is the case, he will make his own budget for all the trips necessary for the visits and it will be provided to the client.The price of the kilometer is € 2.5 per kilometer
5.- Of the responsibility of the service and RPDG
5.1- The person in charge for all purposes of the performance and quality of the service will be the caregiver assigned as a natural person, whose data will appear in the employment contract and in a private one between the client and the caregiver, prior to the service and a copy delivered to the client.
5.2- La Gatera does everything within the law, the caregiver will be registered in the General Social Security regime.
5.2- Regardless of the Cat & Dog Sitter service, La Gatera has civil liability insurance for all its workers.

Free service for pensioners who cannot pay for the service
The price for this service is € 5 / hour for pensioners, people with disabilities or reduced mobility
ADOMICILE ATTENTIONS
When the elderly person does not see well, does not walk well, has mobility problems, degenatives that prevent them from offering their pet the care that would be correct or that they do not feel up to taking the pet for a walk. We will go to the home of the elderly person to take care of their pet. According to needs, he will take a walk, feed, wash and take to the vet
This service is performed by La Gatera volunteers, so they do not receive any financial compensation. Travel expenses are borne by Pet Sitter

While the absence lasts, a shelter will be found until the elderly person returns home
THE ELDERLY PERSON IS ENTERED IN A RESIDENCE
A shelter will be sought until a new home is found (each case will be analyzed and according to the breed and size of the animal, the best option will be applied to guarantee the welfare of the animal)
